OPERATION
- Q1 : Why doesn't the image from door station change smoothly or doesn't change?
Why does the sound interrupt spottily?
- A1 : The network bandwidth may be not enough.
- Q2 : Why is starting up the PC Application slow?
- A2 : When a lot of the Recorded files are stored, starting up the PC Application may be slow.
- Q3 : A Frame Rate becomes slow when the number of connecting the PC Application increases.
- A3 : Frame rates becomes less by the number of connecting PC at the time of the call from door station.
- Q4 : Why doesn't the PC Application connect with the IP Video Intercom adaptor?
- A4 : The ports may be used to other applications already. Changes the ports number.
- Q5 : The picture doesn't record anymore with the message of "CANNOT RECORD. SPACE IS FULL".
- A5 : Delete or remove recorded files from "Aiphone_JKW_Rec" folder.
- Q6 : The display of the setting screen of the IP Video Intercom Adaptor became strange.
- A6 : Delete temporary Internet files, delete webpage history, delete forms etc. from the "Tools" ⇒ "Internet Option" in Internet Explore.
- Q7 : Why doesn't the sent date & time have on the e-mail?
- A7 : Depend on the e-mail service, there is the date & time of sent as well as recording one. JKW-IP doesn't have clock inside, so that sending date & time is not given.
- Q8 : Why isn't e-mail transmitted although "Email" setting was performed?
- A8 : DNS server setting is required at Network of the Administrator Settings.
- Q1 : Why can't the router set when UPnP is on?
- A1 : It is required manual setting (port forwarding settings). Refer to the list of supported routers.
- Q2 : It is necessary to change port numbers when plural PC Applications or IP Video Intercom Adaptors are used in Global.
- A2 : It is required to set the port number doesn't overlap. The details will come soon.
- Q3 : Why doesn't receive a call etc. approximately 5 min. after reboot by power failure or changing Network Setting?
- A3 : Perform "Disconnect" and "Connect" of corresponding adaptor in PC Application.
- Q4 : Why does the PC Application close after the setting of "LANGUAGE Settings", "Picture Recording Mode Settings", "Max Recording Space Settings", "Auto Recording Settings", or "Audio Recording Settings" in Preference of the PC Application?
- A4 : In those settings, closes PC Application as well as Setting screen. Restart PC Application.
- Q5 : Is there any SMTP sever can't be used with JKW-IP?
- A5 : The free e-mail service like Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Hotmail can't be used SMTP sever for JKW-IP.
- Q6 : The FTP server of Windows can't be used, because Windows XP Home Edition is used.
- A6 : There isn't "Firmware Update" at this moment, so FTP sever is unnecessary.
- Q7 : Which kind of VPN can be used with JKW-IP?
- A7 : Use VPN which is available to communication at Layer2 level.
- Q8 : What is the Encryption Key File? When it is required to update?
- A8 : It is the unique encryption key in each IP Video Intercom Adaptor in order to encrypt door release and option output command.
Sets lower the Frame Rate and the Quality of Video Setting of Network from the Administrator Settings window.
The Network bandwidth requires more than 320kbps (frame rate 1fps & quality 1) for one IP Video Intercom Adaptor./dl>
When a lot of IP Video Intercom Adaptors are connected, start up of the PC Application may be slow.
In addition, continuous OS operation makes the computer's performance worse. Reboots computer.

Why doesn't the image from the door station appear?
Why doesn't the sound come?
The ports "65060", "65061", and "65062" are not available to set for Audio Port.
Changes Audio Port to other port number.
Depending on the router, the port numbers which were selected by UPnP are memorized until the power switch is off. Reboots the router, if necessary.
Refer to the instruction manual of the router, in order to investigate the port number currently used with the router.
Then reopen setting screen of IP Video Intercom Adaptor.
Input into DNS server column the IP address by the side of LAN of the broadband router which has connected IP Video Intercom Adaptor.
Or input the IP address of DNS server specified as the DNS server column by the provider.
The setting is required when SMTP sever is setup by URL.
SETTING
Refer to the router's instruction manual for the manual settings (port forwarding settings).
When the setting of Network Setting is changed, "Disconnect" corresponding adaptor. Then reinput changed setting, and "Connect" adaptor again.
Use specified SMTP sever from your provider, and also SMTP sever is required to apply SMTP authorization, CRAM-MD5.
The Encryption Key File is common in each IP Video Intercom adaptor. Update the Encryption Key File is recommended regularly or when the user is changed.
When updating the Encryption Key File, you need to download the Encryption Key and make settings for all PC Application.
